Tax Rebates

GST (Goods and Services Tax) for Tour Operators

The Government of Canada provides rebates for GST paid by tour operators for tour packages.

To be an eligible tour package for this rebate, a package must be sold for an all-inclusive price and must include the following:

• short-term accommodation in Canada; and
• at least one service.

Border Crossing Information for Motor Coach Tours

Providing border crossings with tour information prior to your arrival will help assist with this necessary process.  Please fax the following information at least 24 hours prior to arrival on company letterhead ensuring that you provide the following information:  company name, brief description of visit, date and estimated time of arrival, number of coaches and names/birthdates and country of origin of all passengers.
