Laptop slung over my shoulder, newspaper under arm and towing my carry-on behind me, I briskly walk from the plane though the Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport early Monday morning.
Sigh, another week, another conference – didn’t I just return home from one of these?
As I exit the security doors a shimmer and glitter catches my eye. Is that a boutique-style jewellery store in the airport? No way!
It appears Winnipeg jewellery designer Hillary Druxman has set up a second shop for weary travelers to treat themselves to something special – don’t mind if I do.
Needless to say I’m looking fashionably forward to my next conference, in Winnipeg.
