Through Sarah Crawley’s photographic process, she creates images that metaphor the tensions between past and present technologies. Using subject matter from a recent trip to Belgrade, her works present a dichotomy between transitive and intransitive light allowing for possibilities provided by the accidental. She creates her work using up to five different photographic processes, both obscuring and embedding information.
