Off we go to Grosse Isle aboard the Santa Evening Express -- with over 8,500 lights outlining the locomotive and the coaches!
Everybody gets to sit on Santa's knee at Grosse Isle -- inside the decorated Santa Caboose -- and get a FREE Candy Cane and Coloring Book! En route, there is a raffle for the world's biggest Santa Stocking -- 6 feet (182 cm) tall! The net proceeds from the raffle are evenly donated to Winnipeg Harvest and the Christmas Cheer Board. While waiting to visit Santa, enjoy the HUGE bonfire, make snow angels in the gaily lit Santa Courtyard, purchase a hot dog and a warm cup of cocoa or coffee!
Make sure you dress warmly -- it can get COLD out there! And bring a Tin for the Bin or an unwrapped toy -- the Prairie Dog Central Railway is pleased to annually assist Winnipeg Harvest and the Christmas Cheer Board with non-perishable food items and toys provided by our Santa Train guests.
