Investing in the Future

Both public and private capital investments are fairly well balanced across the province of Manitoba, including the city of Winnipeg.

There are currently four major, large-scale investment projects underway in Winnipeg, totalling over $1.1 billion in capital investment, these include:

  • A new airport terminal at the Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport
  • The Canadian Museum for Human Rights
  • A new Canada Post centre near the airport
  • Manitoba Hydro Office tower downtown (recently completed)
